LGS has a Ruger Security Six, six inch barrel, adjustable sights. Bluing is highly polished and very little wear- faintest of a turn line starting in the bolt notches. Have not seen bluing like this on a Ruger in a long time, if ever. Lock up seems good. Not bank vault solid, but a lot better than other revolvers I've seen. There didn't seem to be much, if any flame cutting on the inner top strap. Shop wants $400 for it.
I know that Ruger doesn't work on these any more. Not an expert on revolvers, enough to get myself in trouble. Is there anything else I should be looking for/at with this model? How were these? I had a service six years ago that was rode hard and put away wet when I got it, but I don't recall much about it other than that.
What's the good and bad on these? Accuracy? Looking to fill a 38/357 void fun range gun. Thank you and Happy New Year.
