To start my gun collection, I got these two neat rifles. The problem is I haven't had much experience with their kind of sights...I've shot an AK and Marlin before. I'm not exactly sure what kind of sight picture I should be striving for. I assume that on the Keltec I want to place the circle of the front sight aligned with the circle of the front sight and place my target right on top of the front sight. For the GSG-5, it has the rotary drum sights, but I don't know how they work. For the open notch, I just try to level the front sight with the V and the circle, align the front and rear sight circles. Can anyone else provide more information on what I should be seeing? Thanks.

when using aperture sights: With a flat front sight post, you put the tip of the front sight in the center of the aperture. With a circle on the post, center the circle in the aperture.

You can put the target on the top of the post, or center it on the target. As long as you do it the same way every time, it will be ok.
