I know recoil is subjective, but can someone give me some type of comparison in regards to the recoil of the 38 Super out of a LW Commander?

I would guess it is more than a 9mm Sig 228 or 225 or Glock 19 and less than a 45 out of a full size1911. Does it fall in the middle of those two or due to the LW frame does it lean more towards the 45?

I am concerned about follow up shots...how quickly and accurately I would be able to get off the second shot.

Is the gun easily controlled, moderately controlled, hard to control, etc.?

For those that own one or have owned one, are you pleased with it or do you wish you would have purchased the 45 or a 9mm?

Thanks for your response.

I had 38 super but never a LTW I have always felt recoil was like a +P 9. no big deal. I have a 45 commander LTW and I have never had any trouble with follow up or recoil with non +P . I won't use +P in my 45's see no reason for it.
