After some "issues" with non "tier 1" ARs, I would like to get a milspec AR. After lots of research, I am looking at an LMT. Does everyone that has an LMT that isnt govt issued buy the lower and upper seperately? Or is there a way to get a complete rifle?

Also, is there any reason I would later wish I would have gotten a Colt in your opinions? I have seen quite a few threads saying Colt is the only way to go, and I can see why it is over some of the gun show ARs, but not over LMT, Sabre, etc.

Is there any difference in quality between what a civilian gets and the for the govt made LMTs? I dont want to end up with yet another AR and later find out it is not what I was looking for(as close to perfeciton as possible). I would like to start taking some carbine classes and want to start off with something most likely to work best.

Thanks

LMT won;t sell complete guns to civilians for some reasons. You could buy a complete lower of any reputable manufacturer and then buy a complete LMT upper (and those are easy to get a hold of).

Quality is good from LMT, one of the best.

I am also not aware of Lewis Machine and Tool selling complete civilian legal firearms either and I don't live very far from them.
Excellent high quality merchandise on what they do sell, civilian or military.

LMT

Top notch quality. But no, they do not sell complete rifles to civilians.
