I buy a lot through eBay. Since the height of the panicdemic, I have noticed that those sellers, too, are having a hard time getting things out, dramatically different than before. I suspect that, in many parts of the country, face-to-face shipping outlets that sellers are used to using are more restricted, or are fewer in numbers. The workforce in the shipping industry is probably still being rebuilt after massive cuts and layoffs.
I've only done two GB purchases, one "before", and one "during." The second one really didn't take that long, and was only complicated by the seller forgetting to enclose his FFL. I can't compare the first because the seller was across the street from where I was when I won, so I just walked over and picked it up.
