My deepest sympathies to you and to your family. I have racently got a hunting dog and I could not imagine how hard it would be to lose a friend like dog.

RIP Kubi. Sounds like a wonderful companion. I feel for ya, man. I've lost 2 of my 4 furries in the last 6 months, to old age & disease. Your buddy will be replaced by another good one, I'm sure, which will help get over him, but he'll always be missed and never forgotten. Glad to know he died while doing what he loved and protecting his master. This thread is a nice tribute to him!
