Hi Guys

Going to Raleigh area for our daughters college graduation.

Looking for good gun shops in the near vicinity.

Thank You for any guidance.

;)

I shop at PDHSC.

I avoid Davi's - it's an expensive shop often frequented by those who who know nothing about muzzle control. I jump out of my ski at least once every 15 minutes in there, when I find myself staring down the muzzle of some weapon. The RSO's hang out on the counter the other side of the glass, and pay no attention to the way guns are actually handled at the range. Every once in a while, they fuss at someone for firing too quickly.

And if you have time to drive just south of Cary to Apex try Youngs, great store with a lot of used and even more new.

Thank You

I will print a map and follow up on the links.
Super helpful to have local people in the know.
Thank You

Proud and somewhat broke father.;)

Is that Eagle 1 place in the old Davi's building? If it's not, it must be a stone's throw.

PDHSC and Young Guns are good places to shop. You'll enjoy both.

Steve

+1 for PDHSC, -1 for Davi's.

If you want a guide, let me know. PM with phone incoming.

Davi's is overpriced and some of the guys there are just plain dumb...but their knife expert is good
Mace Sports is where I like to shop. Its in Mebane.
Also, Blackwood Station Outfitters. Not that many guns, not that great of prices, but REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY nice folks.

It's the next street down from the old Davi's. The old Davi's was on N. Market Dr., the Eagle 1 address is on Craftsman. I'm going to wait until they finish their range before I go check them out.

PDHSC-Nice shop with easy and non-tactical feel.
Lawmans was recommended to me by one of the guys, its about a block
away.Cop shop, friendly and filled with all things L.E.
One of the guys helped me out and I left with a small and blinding
surefire and some ammo.

Thank you all for your help and suggestions.I should have asked about
Durham, but the phone book looked pretty sparse.

Beautiful area,I really like how people treated each other.
Duke is pretty amazing. All in all a great visit.

If you have the time to travel a little, check out Ed's gun shop in Vass, NC on US1, about 40 miles south of Raleigh.

For a backyard shop, Jim's Gunshop in Garner is good.

And, a little closer than Ed's, is Perry's gun shop in Knightdale, east of Raleigh on US64.

Cuervo, thanks for the info.I am MANY miles away since last wensday.
You folks are in a fine and beautiful area.
Thank You All
