I've been lugging 2 range bags- one with all my shooting gear and the other with the spotting scope and sand bags for the bench rest. It's a bit much when I add the rifle cases and target backer, etc.
Most of the "regulars" seem to use roll around tool box totes. That seems the way to go to put all the heavy stuff in. Any particular version that anyone can recommend? I'm about to hit up lowes and see what they have.
I think I'm going to split my gear up too. I either shoot benchrest at the outdoor range (requiring all the heavy gear). Or I go to the indoor 25 yard range, for pistol and carbines. Maybe I should load out the small range bag just for the indoor range and keep all the major tools in the box. At the pistol range, I really only need sight adjustment tools.
