Went to the range yesterday and trying to maintain my skills and familiarity with my EDC. Typically I go twice a week and shoot about 200 rds of center fire and 100-200 rds of rimfire. Weekend days also shoot Defense Shotgun and Deer hunting shotguns.
Have to adapt to new ammo shortage.
50 rds of 22.cal Ruger LCP
14 rds Beretta Pico 380
20 rds Snubbie 38
24 rds Kahr CM9 9mm
25 standard buck shot
Also tried out Aguila Mini Slugs- Now this was just pure fun. I have a very large stash of Shotgun ammo with close to 1,000 rds of Buck shot alone, but really did not want to go into that. Went to buy more shotgun ammo but all out but the Mini slugs. So I picked up a few boxes.
I have never shot them before. Recoil was mild. Not wimpy but certainly not harsh. I was kind of surprised they did have the hoomph they did. Shooting soda bottles and milk jugs then set a target out to 25 yds. I plan to buy a case as soon as they are available, also the Birdshot.
The Last two shots were attempt at head shots.
Aguila Mini Slugs 12 ga
Target 25 yds.
Shotgun Stoeger Condor OV 12ga 20" barrel
