Range encounters that bug you

The public range here at the Manchester State Forest in Sumter SC is excellent. The staff is very professional and friendly. The people are usually friendly and courteous. Although , there are times when someone shows there behind but,all and all I consider it a very nice range. I hunt the public WMA also. I think the whole shabang to be jam up and jelly tight. The only problem is the yankee's who are in the military at Shaw AFB sometimes won't go home; but, we'll make room for them.

I only know of two outdoor ranges in NE Ohio and they are both private, so I shoot indoors a lot. The one thing I detest is honey comb on the steel. I caught a ricochette from the steel to my left cheek, it broke my S&W shooting glasses (I think they saved my life). The owner of the range admitted he had put off cleaning it since it required grinding off the honey comb. Haven't been back to that range since.
