On Saturday I finally got to shoot the 3" GP100 I acquired a couple months ago. I shot 100 rounds of WWB .38s and it was as close to "plinking" as I could get next to shooting my .22. Accuracy was low with the .38s @ 25 yards.
Then I shot the .357 140gr. Winchester JSP, 50 rounds. Wow, these things were just about POA @ 25 yards and kicked pretty good, but not uncontrollable.
I would still like to lighten up the trigger more. I've dry fired it probably over 1K times in the month I've had it and it is heavy but smooth. I'll look into the spring pack from Wolff.
I also bought a Comp-1 speedloader for it. I haven't used it yet but wondered if it was more durable than the HKS speedloader. The comp-1 just feels flimsy. I also picked up a speedloader holster(UM) used but in great shape for @$4.
So, quick question, I'm partial to Kydex, however, I think this revo needs to be carried in a leather holster. Use would be for range and carry. I'll note that the IWB nylon holster I have for my S&W 6946 also fits my GP 100 so I can carry it IWB if I want. The weight doesn't seem to be too bad for me. Suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, after shooting the .357 mags, I shot my 9mm. Man, after that, the 9mm felt downright wimpy. Maybe I should trade up for a 610 and be out of autos in favor of revo all together???
Thanks, Mike
