To NEW SIG P225 P6 OWNERS!!

Congrats, you now own one of the shooting worlds sweet little secrets. Let me tell you a few more. They are wonderful guns, They WHERE make to work with JHP ammo, as a sig is a strait line feed from the mag. The only ammo that you have to be careful with is the hot +p or +P+ ammuntion. IN SOME P225s the hot ammo will cause the slide to cycle to fast and cause a malfunction. These ammo issues can all be addressed by following a simple handgun rule. TEST YOU GUN WITH EACH AMMUNITION!!!!!!
Now the big seceret. Call Sig they have a refit / refinish program which last time I checked was 125$ this applies to even the oldest sigs! It includes a compleat refinish, NEW NIGHT SIGHTS, and an armorer level refit. Well worth the money.
As for holsters sigs like glocks will fit most any holster made made for their brand. To be more specific if the holster will fit the P228, P229, the it will fit the P225/ P6 in some cases you may have to tighten tension screws.
Good luck you have a freind that will last forever.

Can someone tell me if a P6 is smaller or more concealable than a Makarov?

Test your JHP ammo! My step dad got a P6, and we took it out and put about 70 rounds through it. 1 box blazer aluminum and some leftover WWB JHPs I had. Almost every round of the WWB would jam in the feed ram. The blazer shot flawless. The P6 is very accurate though.
