I finally got to go to the range and shoot my Beretta U22 Neos. It took a while to get the Simmons 30mm red dot scope sighted in, but once I did I had some fun! I set it at 25 yards and after that I could hit anything, and I do mean anything , I aimed at.

I kept reading about the fun you could have with a 22 but never realized it could be this much fun! A couple of other shooters stopped by to check it out and commented on my groups. They acted like they couldn't believe it when I told them it was my firtst time shooting it and sighting in the scope at the same time.

If you remember my post from my last trip to the range I told how I met a guy with a new Benelli M3 and how he let me shoot it? Well, on this trip there was a guy shooting a Springfield Armory SAR8. He had a 22 conversion kit on it at first. I walked down to take a look. While we talked about it he switched it back to 308 and asked if I'd like to shoot it! So I got to put about 30 rounds thru it.

So I love my Neos, had a lot of fun, shot a SAR8, and generally had a good day. I hope you guys did, too.

Yeah, hard to miss with those red dots once you get it dialed in. Try shooting one handed and after some fatigue the red dot starts bobbing, that's when it get's interesting.
