Hello there everyone. I'm a PFC stationed at Cherry Point MCAS in North Carolina. I just have a quick question if there are any locals on this board, Where is the closest range that rents Pistols or Rifles? One of the SSGT's said something about B+R's shooting range but didn't really say anything else. Any help will be greatly appriaciated.

B&R Range is a great place to go, I just wish they opened earlier. I plan to be out their tomorrow around 1100-1300 or so. Here's their info:

Tue-Fri 11-530, Sat 11-5, Sun 1-5
Closed Monday
To get there, you exit the main gate and take the first immediate right. Go through the traffic light and pass by KFC on the left and the drug store on the right. Go about a 1/2 mile where there is a Railroad crossing and a service station on the right. Turn left at this intersection (Lake Road). B&R is about 2 miles down that road on the left, marked by a black letters on a yellow sign. It is easy to miss ... it is roughly 4/5 of the way down the first straight-away after the residential area.

Hwy 17, big yellow bldg on left a mile or so north of town
Indoor, rental $6, $10 range fee all day M-F (2 hr limit on Sat and Sun)
There's this one too, but they are more expensive, but I think their rifle range goes out to at least 300 yrds (B&R is 200):

I have many fond memories of the B&R range. I grew up in Havelock and lived on Lake Road at the time.

chewy im just up the road in new bern
head to b&r its probably 15 mins for the main gate and a great place run by great people
rick trys to keep his prices reasonable you can rent there too he has a number of pistols and rifles

When I was stationed at Lejuene we used to shoot at Flatwoods Gun Shop & Range, but back then it was only 10.00...
