here's a link to one of his earlier songs for anyone that cares......... http://youtube.com/watch?v=pQySacxorKY

i actually really like alot of his music (and i really don't care much for rap), but he says a lot of real stuff.....don't care for him as a person, but his music tells the truth.....

that being said, he was on felony probation and i would be surprised to see him serve less than 3 years in prison when it's all said in done. it's an unfortunate circumstance because like the article said, he truly was on top of the world.

this IMO is worse than the mike vick ordeal/a bigger let-down

oops, double post.....didn't see it go through

Soooo what were the machine guns? I missed it if it was mentioned. :scrutiny:

Here you go, Cold. From the affidavit, that someone earlier posted:

$2,200 for THREE machine guns, TWO silencers, AND a pistol? Sure as heck wasn't at my local gun shop.

Now that was funny :D

It looks like the trade was $2200 and a bushy .223 for the aforementioned other goodies.

I wonder what kind of guns he was trying to get, and with his money, couldn't he have gotten his record expunged?

Generally speaking, in GA law, you can only get a misdemeanor expunged after a predetermined time doing nothing else wrong and before final adjudication by a judge.

A felony cannot be expunged.

So he traded 2,200 and a bushmaster .223 pistol for two cheap spray guns with silencers and a H&K pistol.

Originally posted by crazed ss: What's funny is the exact reaction we'd be hearing of TI was some crazy militia nut out in the sticks making grenades and plotting to blow up Mexicans.

Yeah but those guys were plotting on blowing up Mexicans. And they weren't black...;)

He should be free. He has committed no wrong and he is a supporter of the second amendment. His previous conviction for drugs is bogus and he should not be considered a felon as he did nothing wrong. The man is a hero for fighting against unjust laws

While I believe drugs should be legalized as I don't care what one does to themselves... it is currently a crime to be in possession, sell, etc. So the claim that he did nothing wrong.... bogus. he did knowingly commit a crime and he paid for it. Now he is a felon. He also knew that buying machine guns out of the back of a truck is wrong and the possession of firearms by him is wrong. Now he gets to pay for that.

While I agree, the laws are not correct, this does not make him a hero. Just some dude who went outside the law and got busted for it. Kind of like saying that Jeffrey Dahmer was a hero to Cannibals as he got caught for an "unjust Law".

The true heroes are the ones out there fighting everyday to save rights, to change laws. Some dude who wanted to get himself some illegal gats is not a hero and sets our cause back.

The same could be said for some black chick that wanted to sit in the front of a bus and cause trouble. Rosa Parks broke the law too...don't forget it.

did anyone by chance, check out the link i posted at the top of this page??

if you've never heard of him before/not familiar with any of his music/don't care for rap music, i was just wondering what your take on that song was

Thanks Douglas! I knew it was in there somewhere;)

Just glad it was not another case of the media calling Semi -FA

There was a picture of the seized guns in our paper and if I was a cop in Atlanta I would be hanging around the evidence pile for a while. Those guns were nice, still don't know what they were but two ar's with beta c's and a burkinov(spelling) ak with the drum and some revolvers.
