Was wondering if anyone has ordered one recently. If ya did how long did it take? I sent the the bullets in to get one and they said 2-6 weeks. Thanks.
Thanks.Last batch I ordered it took the full 6 weeks, but that was last year. They'll call you when they are done to get your CC info for payment.
Yeah.........................................but you get all sorts of FREE advice around here..........................!!!!.....................MatchMaster plugs are more than that and I made the decision I didn't want epoxy or JB weld. Hopefully this thread doesn't become a debate on DIY or RCBS custom plug. I only asked about how long it takes RCBS to do it for those who had had it done recently. Thanks
I’ve got to ask… how are they “more than that”? I’ve considered getting one as well.MatchMaster plugs are more than that and I made the decision I didn't want epoxy or JB weld.
How's the fit.... not ordered one yet but am considering one.
You can fix any seating plug with a lathe and some brainpowerGet a custom fit in any seating plug with The Bullet and J-B Weld Epoxy Putty .
Clean and degrease inside of the plug ... wax or grease the bullet - so it doesn't get stuck in the fitted seating plug . You can use J-B Weld epoxy Glue but it might run ... the epoxy Putty stays put ...
Get a small ball in the seating cavity and proceed to seat the bullet ... make sure all is in line and straight ...seat about 1/2 way into the case ... and leave it in the press with a little pressure on the handle untill the epoxy sets up and hardens ... You done !... Perfect Fit for that bullet ...every Time !!!

You contacted the public and you get public reaction. Post 2 was good info. Many people here detest buying what you can make. So I also enjoy reading those so thanks for providing immeasurable entertainment.Guess you didn’t read post #5. I’m gonna unwatch my thread as I already got my plug back.

You're both right. Post 2 was good, that's why I thanked him in post 3. No doubt I've posted on threads what the OP thought wasn't relevant to what they were asking about, but others reading the thread did. Most likely will do it again . Hopefully I won't provide too much entertainment. I apologize if I have offended either of you.As above... For those who provide experience-based solutions
and alternative approaches for remedies -- our thanks
Guess you didn’t read post # 15 eitherI was only trying to post some helpful information ... not all want to wait / pay for custom made plugs ...
They just so easy to make and you get a perfect fit with J-B Weld .
If you have a good suggestion ... pass it along ...
we all sailing in the same reloading boat .
