I got a friend of mine back into reloading after a 38 year absence from it. I took all of his old dies (.30-30, .300WM, .30-06, .270W, .357WM, .44RM, .38spl), boxed them up, wrote a letter to RCBS, and sent them back to see if they could be reconditioned. The dies had light rust and some of the decapping pins and small parts were missing or broken.

I explained in the letter that he was the orginal owner and that we were willing to pay up to the cost of new dies to have them reworked.

Fast forward a month, the dies have been completely reworked, updated and repaired. All old parts were returned and some additional parts were included. They were shipped from CA to NC. There was NO CHARGE!!!

This is the exact reason I will continue to buy their products!!!:D

I had a 223 sizing die that bent the decapping pin. It never was right, I should have sent it back when new, but I used it until the whole shaft got bent. They sent me a whole new shaft assembly for free.

While I had them on the phone I asked how I could buy spare pins, they sent me 5 for free.

I thought RCBS did me right and was fairly impressed.

I have had only good experiences with RCBS. I have even replaced almost everything that I own that is not RCBS just because I like dealing with a company that is willing to take such good care of their customers.

I've also had great service from RCBS. This might be off-topic, but is there a reloading company that DOESN'T provide great customer service? I've only heard praises for all of them.

RCBS Case Cleaner

The motor on my case cleaner started running slow. So I took the bottom cover off to try and lube the bearings and damaged the rubber feet because they used loc-tight on the screws...anyway the oil didn't help. I called up RCBS and explaned, all she wanted was my name and address and said a new motor will ship out next week and new rubber feet!!!

Can't beat that :)

I have not been happy with Dillion customer service at all. I will not buy another Dillion product,...ever!

LEE, Lyman, RCBS, and Hornady have all been exceptional, but RCBS is the cream of the crop in my opinion. My reloading gear is a hodgepodge of brands, but is turning more "green" by the day.

I've had great customer service from RCBS in the past but......Wednesday tried calling for over an hour and kept getting busy signal. I assume something was wrong with the phones or I would've gotten an automated "please hold" message. So after I couldn't get through by phone I used the email on their customer support info. I left a polite email and never heard back. I tried calling again Fri. but they only work Mon.-Thurs. This is the first time I've had a problem getting to talk to someone. I'll try again Mon afternoon if I don't get an email response.

LEe and RCBS here... never had a problem getting anything resolved with either company. Although, I've only dealt with Lee once. RCBS a couple of times concerning a set of 30-06 dies... it kept bending/breaking the decapping pin and bending the rod... after three replacement rod/pin sets... they just sent me a new set of dies, and requested for me to send the other set back to them... I got a email from them saying the dies I sent back were defective... They didn't go into detail... I ave no complaints at all, and thought that RCBS customer service is above and beyond what I would call good...

Thank you RCBS for putting the customers first... :)

I have had great luck with RCBS they worked with me and resolved the problem right away. I have had the same treatment with Dillon, I will use the dillon press but most everything else I have, and will buy is RCBS.

I use reloading products from several manufacturers, and it seems that RCBS wants everyone to be a 'satisfied' customer.

Still busy phone today at RCBS for the last hour.???

Right after I posted I got through. They took good care of me as usual. She said it's been crazy there. They are backed up 500 emails and have to work overtime. Apparently people are doing a lot of reloading. It's good to know folks are putting all those primers I can't find to good use.

Email

RCBS took days to respond to my last email, however, it was a FREE outcome. I was patient, and they came plenty. :D
