A while back I got back into reloading and was able to stumble across a buttload of reloading equiptment at an estate-type sale for very little money. Most of the stuff I kept for my personal use was RCBS and Redding. (I was able to sell the rest at a tidy profit). Anyway, as I began to use the equiptment it turned out I needed a handful of small parts that had become worn out or lost by the previous owner. The guys at RCBS Customer Service walked me thru the ordering process and sent me the parts I needed within 3 days. No charge for parts and no charge for postage. Can't do better than that...

I also bought a press, new from Midway and didn't get to completely set it up, until after about a year -- when I finally got into it all the way, I realized there must have been a packet or envelope of small parts missing!

I called RCBS and they had the stuff on my doorstep in like two days! No charge, at all! I did tell them I have been reloading with their equipment for over 25 years, which is true!

Nope.

You would be hard pressed to find any company, anywhere, with a better warranty then RCBS.

Sometimes, it seems almost unfair to them the way they hand out parts for free.
I have tried in the past to pay them for something I should have had to pay for, and they won't ever take it.

RCBS has great customer service. I've contacted them several times for replacement parts (some of my equipment is over 35 years old) and they shipped them immediately at no cost.

Told RCBS I wore out retainer spring for shell holder , Two came in the mail that week. Keep in mind I use the rock chucker almost daily for the past 30 years. The rock chucker was perchased to replace a junior I wore out the casting and ram on. Great machines.

I have an RCBS Rock-Chucker I Bought new in 1970.
A couple of years ago, it got to the point my old arthritic hands couldn't take the straight bicycle grip on the handle any longer.

I wanted to buy the new ball-style handle to replace my perfectly good original press handle.
A call to RCBS to order one resulted in a new Ball-Type handle in my mail box three days later.

The cost?
No charge!

How many other companies would send you a free part to replace an non-defective part, 40 years after you bought it?

I can't think of any at all.

RCBS customer service is great. I needed a special .503 lead bullet size die for a White muzzle loading rife. I called RCBS and told them what I needed and the guy said, no problem. I gave him my credit card number and about 2 weeks later the die came in the mail. It worked perfectly. Can't beat a deal like that. BW

I have also had outstanding customer service and support from RCBS. I had broken a few pieces on some RCBS reloading equipment. I told them it was my fault and I wanted to purchase the replacement parts. They refused to take my money and just asked for my shipping address. They arrived two days later ( I live 60 miles from their factory). I will always be a loyal RCBS Customer.

I hear Dillon also has great customer service but I do not recall seeing too many threads on their warranty or customer service.?

About six months ago I bought a box of reloading supplies and equipment at a garage sale. In the lot was an older rock chucker that I really didn’t need but, what the hey. A month or so ago I looked it over and saw there was excessive rotational play in the ram and toggle so I called RCBS to order the parts to fix it and the nice lady on the phone said “send it in; we’ll fix it”. Off to California it went. Received a package from them today containing a BRAND NEW PRESS! NO CHARGE! They even picked up the $25 in postage. I figure I’ve got about $50 in it total.

Gotta love the green.

I havent seen this. the only thing i've had dealings with is their chargemaster. 45.00 to replace. Maybe this type of service is only on their metal parts. Electronics fall under a different category i suppose.
