I just picked up an rcbs turret press and have mounted a uniflow powder measure on it. The question pertains to mounting the uniflow in line with the dies. I mounted a sizer/decapping dies then as I move it left to an expander die and then I tried to mount the powder measure then the crimp/seating die in order. The issue is the uniflow won't move past the primer holder sticking up from the base of the press. It won't clear it. Anyone who's used one of these or seen one will know what I mean. So I had to mount the crimp/seating die out of order so I have to go two stops after belling the case to drop powder then one back to seat and crimp.
Has anyone set one of these presses up with a powder measure on it and worked around this or am I just going to have to get used to this? It's not terrible as long as I make sure to pay attention to what I'm doing. I am using this more as a progressive than doing things in batches so going across in order would have been nice.
Anyone with any suggestions to this? Thanks.
John
