I guess my question would be...

For a BP revolver, what kind of legitimate gunpowder do you folks like, and why?

I'm still limited to Schuetzen (= Graf's) so far. Swiss will get opened eventually. I haven't tried, or had the chance to try GOEX. Is it worth buying just because it's American?

Also because as it happens it's a good powder and it's less expensive.

I tried 777 it's HOT! I like real Black Powder but it's hard to find around here so I use Pyrodex "P".
Clean-up with Pyrodex is pretty easy. A little mild soap or Windex and hot water. Lube with Break-Free all over. Break-free transports itself into everywhere!
For filler I use Corn Meal it burns clean and it dosen't smell that bad...

I agree completely with Mykeal on this one. I have pyrodex and Goex. I originally bought Goex because I have a flintlock. I now use it almost exclusively and really like it.
The fact that cleaning is easy doesn't hurt, either.

I'm in love with swiss... I can't wait to hear Lunie speak about it (when he would have tested it...). I would just suggest to reduce the first loads... It is supposed to be <> 777.
