howdy yall i was just wonderin if that just because the sights on back where a little to the left makin the shot pull left if dead centerin the rear sight should make it go straight the guns a S&W SW9VE 9mm

If you're consistently shooting to the left then drifting the rear sight to the right will correct the problem.

Center the rear sight and see where it shoots. Sounds like it will fix your problem.

Most handguns are sighted in at the factory. Your gun just shoots like crap. The sigmas have this problem allot. To move the sights to compensate for poor accuracy furthers the problem. That gun will only be accurate at the distance sghted at the factory.

My sigma .40 shoots low and to the left pretty consistently. I don't think the sights are adjustable, so I've just learned to compensate. It makes me seem like a great shot by comparison when someone else lets off a few rounds!

My sigma .40 wouldn't shoot to point of aim and it finally pissed me off so I sold it and bought a 1911 and have never looked back.

Eh, I like mine fine enough to keep it. I thought about selling it towards a 1911, but couldn't justify the several hundred dollar difference that I'd have to make up and also switching to a new caliber.

It's probably not the pistol. When I first started shooting DAO (in both revolvers and pistols) my shots were always to the left and low. Unless your rear sight is way off to the left, it's probably the heavy trigger that is throwing you off.

its not the heavy trigger its not that it shoots like crap i adjusted the sight like i explained and took it out later and shot it and now its dead on balls acurate i have expert shooting medals for both the 9mm qualification course and the m16 qualification course for the navy if i wanted some to critique my shooting i would have asked but in the end the question was answered so thank you for your answers: ian928, and scott30
