Removing barrel during disassembly was difficult (as many videos and written instructions described) but darned if I can get the barrel reassembled. I noticed some scoring (see photo) that probably occurred as I wiggled the barrel off during disassembly.

Any tips/tricks/cautions for barrel (or overall) reassembly? Thanks in advance. IMG_20200201_131002052.jpg IMG_20200201_131010576.jpg

Good to know your two 930's are easy apart easy together. A year ago I took this 930 to local gunsmith for cleaning and he mentioned it did not come apart easiily. Also from Optics Planet instructions "Slowly and authoritatively pull the barrel out from the receiver. " Seems I better contact Mossberg technical support. Thanks again.

I found the problem. The seal ring was dislodged. I got everything reassembled after I did a "quick clean" and lubrication to prevent rust now that our NC duck season has closed. I will do a deeper clean and test firing on some clays later (we are packing our house to be sold/moving)--could be a couple months.

Thanks FL-NC for advising that these are easy to disassemble/reassemble. Once I knew that, it gave me confidence to retry until successful.
