Rebluing GlenField Model 30

I'm rebluing a Glenfield Model 30 and I can't figure out how to remove the brass sight bead from the front sight. It looks like it's staked in. Any idea how to do this?

I also have the Model 30, but mine is dovetailed in. If it is staked, just leave it on. I don't believe the bluing will cover the brass. And I don't think an acid wash will harm the brass even though it is softer than the steel.

I had always been told that brass would contaminate the bluing salts and ruin the batch. I've done alot of shotguns and those beads always come right out but this thing is stubborn. I've got the sight out of the dovetail, I'm just trying to get the bead out. I've got a tool that works on shotguns, but no luck here.
