Sounds like good advice to me JohnBT.
Better their money than their freedom.Well, folks, I'm here to tell you that that is sure a great way to spend someone else's money real quick!
Maybe. Richard Jewell thought he was "helping" the FBI too......amazing. a civil response to a civil letter. Simple clarification was all they were looking for.

Just because he said that does not make it true. This is a guy that works for a government agency that encourages what is as close to perjury as you can get and still skate. A lie without consequences will not bother them one bit.Spoke to the agent today ... he just said all I was required to do was respond to the letter. He asked me a few vague questions that I answered. Seems to be someone in another state (I've never been) has a similar name to mine and fits my description... and hes a felon of course. I'm sure this will clear up. Thanks for input everyone.
You don't know what the letter was for and neither does the OP.Well I think the OP will come out better off than selling his guns, hiring a lawyer, and leaving town for a while. Richard Jewell did come out of that a few million bucks better off. Some how I don't think this letter was to kick off a Richard Jewell treatment.
