i've never owned a .380,i need to pick up an semi-auto compact for my wife
i was going to get her a tomcat in 32acp but i got very mixed reviews on it
i realy want to stay away from kel-tec i've watched them jam and jam some more.i wish i could talk her into a 9mm but she hates the recoil i think if i get her used to shooting a 380 later on she might upgrade to a 9mm

The Bersa .380 is an excellent gun and very affordable. I'd absolutely recommend it. As for your recoil issues I think it's be a good idea to point out that a .380 can recoil just as hard as 9mm or some other rounds, particularly because a .380 is really similiar to a 9mm (just a little bit shorter). It's more about the gun you shoot it out of than anything. I've seen super compact .380s that are less controllable than my full size .45s. Just a thought for you there.

I have a Sig 232 ( LOL its also for sale ) in 380. Its an all stainless model. so its a little heavier, but man its so smooth with fixed barrel and everything. Recoil is nonexistant. I shoot gold dot HP through it and when going to regular ball its like shooting a 22. I would stay away from the Kel tec just because of so many reviews. Spend the money and buy something you know when you pull the trigger and your life is on the line , that it will be there to defend you and protect you.

Thats just my 2 cents.
