Perhaps I am just of the old school concerning shotguns. Back before anyone even considered a scope on a shotgun.
Do you really want to be distracted by using the scope instead of keeping your focus on the intruder(s)? Most HD shooting distances are very minimal
I say point and shoot after identifying your target...and the need for deadly
response.
Go to a gun range and practise shooting at distances you would shoot in your home. Practise and practise some more.
We are talking about hitting a very large target at very short distance.
Concentrate on the intruder(s) not the scope.
