Redfield - Still in Business?

Hi Guys:

Does anyone know if Redfield (the scope people) are still in business? I've seen a number of Redfield ESD red dot sights on liquidator web sites at rediculously low prices.

I posted re:this already and got no good answers. I know that the brand is above respectable, but I have had bad experiences with cheap red dots. I am tempted to take the sportsman guide offer for 100 clams.

Still in business???----in name only----current Redfields are no where near the scope that they made before they went belly up and the the name was bought by Blount---I believe

OBG's got it.

GummintJBT'z destroyed Redfield a few years back, Blount bought the name.

I bought one and am happy with it and its lifetime warranty to boot. They
raised the price in my new catolog to $139.
