Hi, I am getting a 5 1/2 " redhawk because it fits me perfectly. With the normal grips, natural point of aim is flawless. Has anybody else had this experience with this gun? Did you find any other grips that worked for you?

I tend to sweat and rubber grips would be more comfortable than the wood. Also, it does tend to bite a little on the web of my thumb / index finger.

I kind of like the idea of the Hogue Tamer Rubber grips, but I'm worried they'll mess up my natural point of aim... check out this link: http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=231159&t=11082005

Hi, yEs I have owned one since 1988, great gun. very solid. I have shot thousands of rounds through it. The only rubber grips I have experienced on this gun were Pachmayr presentations, they were O.k. . I have had the stock wood on for the last ten years and I like them better.

I put Hogue rubber grips on mt SRH. They feel lot's better. The trigger gard used to bite me on the factory grips. I think Ruger may even sell you a set of their Alaskan grips that are similar.

I also had the Pachmayer grips on mine, and liked them fine, essentialy the same grip as the ones on my N frames.
