Regrets Anybody~?

I regret just about every sale or trade I've ever made. My first Single Six, my first Mark 1, my first .357, my first .45, my second .45, the list goes on and on. I have my collection split in two now, I have a core collection that will never be sold or traded and then I have a secondary collection that I buy guns I want to play with. Once a gun is added to my core collection then it's a done deal and I don't even consider selling it.

A new Mod 19 S&W 4 inch .357, blued, that I gave my wife when we separated/divorced for her "protection". It was the first gun I bought myself, new. Just about perfect condition. (What a dope I was!)

She got rid of it somewhere along the track...didn't even keep it for my son.

No good deed goes unpunished.

What a *%!)&*%!

There's been a few but the one I regretted getting rid of the most was a S&W 2 inch Model 10 that I bought to carry off duty as a Policeman (1960).

Many years ago I traded it to a friend.

About 4 years ago he gave it to me for Christmas.:)

I traded a nylon66 years ago to a guy I went to church with, and have asked several times to trade it back for 2 or 3x the value.
Apparently, they guy decided that the end is near (i.e.: the book of revelation:rolleyes: ) and moved to Arizona to build his family a concrete "tribulation proof" shelter. I'll never see that one again.

Plus, now I'm a pagan, so he refuses to converse with me or allow his hot daughters to talk to me. Oh well.
I'd still like to have it back. I spent an entire summer cutting grass to buy that one.

i haven't been foolish enough to part with any valuable firearms, but i did sell two katanas (one made in 1640s and the other in the 14th century) to pay for college, that i would dearly love to get back. :(

The first handgun I ever bought, I went to the local Coast to Coast and ORDERED it.

2-tone Desert Eagle in .357 mag, traded it for a Beretta 92 and cash that never materialized :cuss: :cuss: to help PAY for my wedding, shoulda seen the impending disaster then and there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( At least I got a beautiful daughter out of that train wreck )

I sure would like to have that DE back, and SOMEDAY I will, the ex, well not so much.

And I DONT miss the Beretta AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
