Reloader 12 (Alliant)

I was given a pound of Reloader 12 (Alliant) and I would like to use this in my 3006. Has anyone any experance with Reloader 12.

Reloader 12 is pretty fast for 30-06 with anything but light bullets.
And it is too fast to give top velocity with any bullet weight.

I have some data from a 1992 Alliant handbook.

What bullet weight are you wanting to use??

This says a 150 Hornady & 48.0 grains MAX gives 2,760 FPS - 57,500 PSI.

Reduce 10% for the starting load.
