Reloading data

Gentlemen,

I am new to reloading and need to purchase several manuals for reloading data. I am primarily loading cast bullets. What manuals do you recommend?

Lyman # 49 and the one for cast, also Lee 2nd edition.

I like the older Lyman manuals, such as #45, because they give their accuracy loads.

You might also want to get a copy of Ken Waters' Pet Loads from Wolfe Publishing. Ken Waters spent a lot of time with cast bullets in most calibers he wrote about.

The new Lyman #49 also gives "accuracy" loads found during their testing.

To answer the OP's question.

Lyman #49 and the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook have the most comprehensive lead bullet data available in one or two manuals. The #49 also covers a wide array of jacketed bullets from different manufactures.
