Widener's has 5.56 tracer bullets for $120/K, says they are new surplus contact overrun, not pulldown, never loaded. Good deal if you want to light up the night sky.:D

Midways new flyer hit today....too much to list, but especially good deals on thousand lots of remington gold sabers in every caliber, and hornady vmax rifle bullets.

I bought a scale off eBay from Japan for $2.50 plus ~$5 shipping. The scale only measures to the nearest .2gr but that is better then my RCBS beam scale. If it happens to be 2.5gr then the scale will bounce from 2.4 to 2.6 so the ~.1 increments can still be found.

Can you give me the item # or a brand name.

Thanks

I don't know if it is the best deal but Harbor Freight has tumblers.

Bought their double drum tumbler last summer for thirty-some dollars but last time I was in there the price was over $80. Mine was not labeled as being on sale. The 2 belts provided broke within a couple of days but I found that rubber bands work just fine. I set it up and going in the garage overnight and get great looking brass with just walnut shells. I'm happy, but it would not be a good choice for someone that shoots 100s of rounds/week.

I also have purchased the double drum tumbler from Harbor Freight and really have used it a good bit, paid about $65 for mine a few months ago. You'd be surprised how much you can run through this tumbler in a few days.

I have a Wally World 24hr lamp timer that I use and just set up the tumbler to run in the morning before I leave for work, another batch when I get home from work and then another batch before I go to bed. 3 runs a day can get you some production.

On another board, people that have ordered the 1k LC brass got FC brass instead similar another thread here regarding MidwayUSA. Sounds like they are getting their brass from the same place

Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. They have had the same deal in the past, and I ordered some. I obviously can't speak about anyone else, but I received LC brass, not Federal. I read a thread about that here too.

I bought most of my supplies for manventureoutpost.com they had the best price on the net and didn't rape you on the shipping to make up for it. they also had a good selection of reloading equipment and some supplies.

I found this lanolin based lotion at Dollar Tree store. It smoothly resized .308 cases, including thicker LC military cases. $1 for 2 oz tube.

BTW, it has a pleasant odor unlike the other "bag balm" and it's even made in the USA! :D
