Was Reloading components hard to find during the "ammo shortage"

Anthony, of course he was,......I wasn't. With 17 grandkids and 8 of them shooters (so far), and living in my town.....I flat don't have the money to hoard ammo. Food on the other hand....my wife and I prioritize on.....including extra, for kids less than wise.....:rolleyes:
 
And, exactly, why would you do that?

That was my thought. Seems like stored that way they'd be likely to start having anvils and possibly even the priming compound popping out of the cup. Maybe I'm just being too literal and missing a subtle joke though.
 
Oh heck yes reloading components was hard to get during the shortage. I had 2 progressives that sat silent for just over a year.

Yes, certain bullets, primers and cases became short, so I am sure everything else might have as well. I remember ordering some just before the shortage, then during the shortage. Within several months, things dried up pretty badly.
