Anthony, of course he was,......I wasn't. With 17 grandkids and 8 of them shooters (so far), and living in my town.....I flat don't have the money to hoard ammo. Food on the other hand....my wife and I prioritize on.....including extra, for kids less than wise.....
That was my thought. Seems like stored that way they'd be likely to start having anvils and possibly even the priming compound popping out of the cup. Maybe I'm just being too literal and missing a subtle joke though.
Yes, certain bullets, primers and cases became short, so I am sure everything else might have as well. I remember ordering some just before the shortage, then during the shortage. Within several months, things dried up pretty badly.
