He's wanting a hunting scope guys...he doesn't need a VXIII. That has a few too many bells and whistles IMO. I don't use windage and elevation turrets on any hunting rifle. I sight in the scope and that's that. I imagine this is what 1911austin will do. A VXI or II will do that just fine. Unless you are going to be range finding something at 800 yards, and then calculating how many clicks it takes to zero in on that range, etc, what good do all those features accomplish? I think a lot of people here are getting a little over-zealous with the scope advice, albeit with good intentions.
