Rem 700 SPS Detachable Magazine

Hi,

Any of you guys own the DM variant of the 700? How do you find it's reliability in feeding? Also, is the construction of the magazine metal or plastic? Does it ever come loose under recoil? Any problems as opposed to a traditional hinged floor plate?

Mine are all metal and lock firmly in place. Mine is 7MM and no issues ever with my 700 BDL.

If you are using reloads, can you seat the bullet further out like in a standard box magazine with hinge floor plate?
