searched but no answer.......are all Remington choke tubes accepted by all Remington factory threaded barrels ????

I'm not sure about the new Versa Max gun. The Russian made guns that Remington imported for a while may use a different tube as well. But to the best of my knowledge all the 870's, 887's, 1100's, and 11-87's all use Remchokes.

Put simply, no. Remington has two types of chokes that they use. Rem Choke, and Pro Bore. The difference being that Pro Bore chokes are designed with back-bored barrels in mind, while Rem Choke is a standard field choke. The easy way to spot the difference is that Pro Bore chokes have the threads on the tube near the muzzle, while Rem Chokes will have the threads towards the rear of the tube.

Three different tubes for three very different Remingtons...as stated above, standard Remchokes for most Remington branded guns like the Express, Wingmaster, 1100, 11-87. Another for the new stuff ProBore. The third was a special one for the Baikal made stuff from Russia. None of the three interchange but if you have a standard bore, made in the USA Remington the Remchokes are correct.
