Remington 185 gr HTP ammo

Remington .45 acp High Terminal Performance 185 grain ammo.

Does anyone shoot this? I am not familiar with this ammo at all. However, I have recently seen this on sale for around $22.00 per 50 box. Good price if this is decent self defense ammo.

Anyone shoot this or know anything about it?

I looked at some at my LGS and it seemed that the jacket was simply folded over into the hollowpoint cavity. I believe it was 45acp, but it may have been 40S&W

I've looked at it quite a bit and it appears to be nothing more than rebranded Remington Express ammunition in a new foil box.

I'll be the guinea pig. At this price I think I'll buy a couple hundred rounds to try.

I'll run them thru a 1911 and a Glock 30s.
