Remington 710 Bolt Not Cocking

I seem to have an issue with the firing pin slipping to the non-cocked position when the bolt is being cocked into the final position. I just had it apart, took the trigger grouping all apart, degreased everything, and can't find anything that would make sense as to why this would be occuring. All springs and metal parts are within spec and I have someone looking at this rifle in 2 hours wanting to buy it, so any suggestions someone could offer would be helpful.

Maybe your action screws are torqued too tight. That happened on one of my rifles. If the rear screw was over-torqued the thing wouldn't cock. It wasn't a remington, but it's worth a try....
