I've made a couple range trips with my new 6mm Creedmoor built on my old Remington 788.
The 788 action was selected because it is the first high powered rifle I ever purchased new (1982) and has been a trusted old friend all these years. I wanted to give her a facelift and an update from .308 Winchester to 6mm Creedmoor with a 25" stainless Lilja barrel with a medium varmint weight contour and a 7.5":1 twist. She's a little nose heavy and I would not enjoy an extended offhand session nor would I want to pack her around all day, but I think she's still pretty sweet.

Attached is the first target fired with the starting loads for the 95 grain Berger bullets. Bull #1 (upper left) is the starting load, bull #2 (upper right) is the next load, bull #3 (lower right) is the third load, bull #4 (lower left) is 4th load and bull #5 (center) is the 5th load. The taped over holes in bull #5 is 1 round of each load fired first.
Because these loads are starting loads and this test ladder consists of 15 different loads in 1/2 grain increments, there will be additional range days with just this bullet/powder/primer/brass combination. These results are very promising especially with the limiting factor being the shooter! (me)
The experimentation is the fun part and I am enjoying every minute of it!
ETA: Had a little difficulty with the .pdf files. They appear to be working now...
