well, i have shot a bunch of it as well. but honestly, mostly for target practice. my dad had some bad experiences with it, so before i started reloading, i always shot winchester ammo for final sighting in and hunting. the problem my dad had was with the bullet end of it. it may have been a bad batch, or just the way it works, i don't know. the bullets shot accuratly, just did not deliver the punch it was supposed to. he shot a deer with his 300 H&H mag 3 times @ around 70 yards, before my little brother finished it off with his 30-30 (winchester bullets). the 3 holes looked pretty much the same going in as they did going out. very little or no expansion. needles to say, dad went back to winchester ammo, and one shot kills. with my handloads, i either use winchester or hornady bullets for hunting. for target practice, i'll shoot anything that is accurate and inexpensive. of course, that is getting to be a joke now, with all the hoarding going on. i just paid 34.00 for the same 1k primers i paid 22.00 for last spring.
