Can't be overstated how painfully tonedeaf Remington has been throughout this affair. I'll be holding it against them long after/if they ever resolve the R51's problems; I'd have forgiven them in advance if they'd bothered to be straight with us customers, lay out a gameplan, and make regular updates with evidence showing their progress. You know, the same way all delinquent vendors are overseen by their customers if they don't plan to go bankrupt.I call them every once in a while and get the same stupid party line.
I'll reply with your own quote: 'They won't give me my gun back and they won't replace it.' --I would consider selling my gun after buying a new one; I can afford to have a little extra money tied up for a short while on my terms. I won't be tying it up on Remington's.Are you planning on sending yours in for a replacement if they ever ship the gen 2 guns?
