I was thinking about putting a replacement stock on a Model 70 ultimate shadow controlled feed rifle. It came with a blck plastic stock. It is controlled round feed long action. I like walnut. What options, walnut or other are out there that you would recommend?

You have to be REALLY carefull to get the right bottom metal. Some of those had blind magazines and there are almost zero options for replacement stocks with blind magazines for Winchesters. Most of those came with 2 piece steel bottom metal and you'll either need to find a stock made for 2 piece bottom metal or buy new bottom metal to convert it.

MOST replacement stocks are made for 1 piece bottom metal. The only options for replacement stocks made for 2 piece bottom metal would be the high end McMillan or Brown Precision synthetic stocks. And those are getting into the $700+ price range now. About the time Winchester made the Super Shadow is when they converted from 2 piece to 1 piece bottom metal so depending on when it was made either is possible
