Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with these rifles? They have been around since 1990. Their actions are based on the Model 70 CRF actions. They offer the .30-06 in 24" barrel with a stainless and walnut option, which is my favorite combination of stock and barrel.

My LGS had one in stock recently, but I did not give it a thorough check as my plan was to buy a new Model 70 Ultimate Shadow in .30-06 as it has a 24" stainless barrel, and I was going to put a nice piece of walnut on it since I can't stand synthetic stocks. This Montana Rifle Co. has that exact configuration in a lefty model to boot! The one thing I did notice was it is extremely heavy, and not because of the extra 2" barrel length or the stock. The action is cast and a little thicker than most actions, This is maybe due to it being cast?
