I am looking at various .380 versions for an added CCW to complement my XD40. I have reviewed the Bersa, Kel-Tec, Beretta, Hi-Point plus one other that I do not remember.
I have not handled the Cobra and wondered if there are some folks out there who have some experience with it.

How is it at the range as well as carrying.

:)

Are you refering to the Patriot 380, CA380 or CF380? Cobra arms produces these three pistols in .380ACP.

The Patriot is similar to the Kel-Tec P11, at least in looks but not sure how similar the internals are.

The CA380 is a remake of the DavisP38 while the CF380 looks like a Jennings or Lorcin, not sure because its been a while since I saw either pistol.

According to the Cobra website and its product catalog, is it listed as a Patriot 380 so not sure what addtional breakdown there might be. Based on their listing it would appear that all the .380s have a similar profile.

Ive handled one before, wasnt a huge fan. I was able to find ( on here) a Firestorm (bersa) .380 with two clips and a box of ammo for $175. It was in perfect shape. For the price its the best bet your gonna find I would suggest going the route i did. Good luck either way though.

You stand a much better chance of getting a reliable firearm with the kel-tec, bersa, or beretta. The cobra is a cheap knockoff of an already very inexpensive gun (look at the component drawing... it's virtually identical to the KT-P3AT).

The newer 2nd gen P3AT's seem to be much better than the original model out of the box. They've fixed the extraction problems they're prone to, and the smilies issue seems to be fixed.

Beretta makes a fine pistol, at a higher price.

Everyone I know who has one raves about the bersa .380's, I've never shot one.
