Item: Bushnell TRS-25 Red Dot Sight
Price: $87.62 Shipped from Cabelas.com
Power Settings: 11 Different outputs
Dot Color: Red Only
Dot Size: 3MOA (Looks more like 2MOA to me)
Shockproof: Yes, tested on 200 rounds of 7,62x39. Some bump fire was involved:eek:.
Waterproof: Factory states it is. Did not actually test it.
Magnification: None
Glass: Clear, crisp and clean at all light settings. Coated

All in all I'm very happy with it. Even after removing the gas tube for cleaning it held zero within 1+/- moa. The tube is a little small but it still gets a good sight picture and is easy to use. It's not an EOtec but it's worth every penny.

The TRS-25 is a good value, IMO. I have two, one on my SAR-1 and another on a 1943 Underwood M1 Carbine, both on Ultimak mounts.

Glass: Clear, crisp and clean at all light settings. Coated
By coated, do you mean shaded? I have a similar sight (Konus Sight Pro) and while the dot is very nice (round, not a starburst) it is shaded. (too much to suit me). The sight picture is also pretty small. How does the Tr-25 compare? Besides 20 vs 25 of course. Thanks. AC

I bought the TRS 25 also. I picked up a Hipoint 9mm carbine for some back yard plinking. It was small enough to fit on the rail in front of my rear sight. I can actually co-wittness the irons thru this sight. So far so good......Joe

It has an "Amber-Bright" coating which is for contrast. It's a little shaded but not so much that it effects night time sights. I can't really say how it stacks up to yours since I've never used the konus so any info I can give is strictly theoretical.

Is the dot round, kind of round, or starburst? In your opinion of course. :)

It's round on settings from 1-8. 9-11 are more of a star burst but those settings are not practical even in very bright settings. I'll try and take some pictures of the dot if my shoulder allows.

Ok here are some pictures I took showing all 11 power settings. Keep in mind this is a $87 bushnell not a $500 eotech. :)

I bought one of these and put it on my sons 20ga shotgun for deer and turkey. It works great, and he loves it.
