Bought the 155gr Speer GoldDot quoted @ 1475fps.
Bought the 135gr Nosler JHP quoted @1600fps

Both are quoted for a 4.6" BBL

Chrono showed 1450-1456fps for the Speer 155gr GoldDots
1580-1585fps for the Nosler 135gr JHP

These are from a G29. Not sure on the BBL length, but I think it is shorter than 4.6". Accuracy was superb. Hovered around 1.5" or less @25yds for both loads. I think this speaks for itself. These will be my daily carry ammo now. I am not a LEO. I paid full price and shipping. I went out on a limb and tried it and I love this ammo, my G29 loves this ammo. What more can I say? Mike is a super nice guy, talked a little shop with him, sent out the order via UPS, got here a few days later. Packaged well, looks like good starline brass. Not cheap inferior brass. Awesome stuff. If you have a 10mm, you owe it to your 10mm to let it digest some of this ammo. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Im putting in my order to Double Tap ammo on Tuesday.

Going for the Speer 155's and the XTP 200gr rounds for the field.

Gonna be launching them from my S&W 1006. Wish I had a chrono. Might have to see if I can borrow one from someone around here.

Just a FYI, I saw Mike posting on GlockTalk (has a dedicated section to 10mm) that he will be out on Friday and all orders from Friday-Sunday will be processes starting Monday. He's going to the SHOT show.

Your barrel is something like 3.8 vs. the 4.6 used to chrono the loads. So your velocity results are very good, I would have expected much slower from the 29.

I was expecting them to be slower and a little bit more of a spread, but they did pleasantly surprise me, no pun intended. I was shocked at the amount of muzzle flash from this little fire breather....

I'm impressed with the velocities out of the short barrel.

I'm more impressed that you can hold a G29 to 1.5" groups at 25 yards! Firing hot loads at that!

:what:

weeelllll, I was using sandbags... :) My chrono tends to read a bit higher when the temps are cold. I notice most other people's loads in all my guns seem to shoot faster than they get, maybe it's the atmospheric pressures or something here in the southeast. I dunno, but I know I like this ammo for my ' lil 29.
