Primer Pocket Swager & Priming Tool

Our ?ALL STEEL? Swager & Priming Tool can be used in any reloading tool. The Swager will remove the crimp from any military case. Both of these items come complete for large and small primers. The swage punches are made from steel and hardened, so there is nothing to ever wear out. We believe there is no tool that is quicker or easier to use on the market today !

419001Primer Pocket Swager$ 22.02

I copied the above from there web site. I just got this tool & found that I really like it. The swager was very easy & fast. One of the hardest task on me is priming. It hurts my shoulder & I never seem to get them seated just right & have to keep redoing them but with the ram prime it fells like thy fall in. I took about 5 tries to set the first one at the right depth by camming over the press but after I had it set I flew through the rest.

I was processing steel cases but I don't see why brass would not be just as easy. If I have different results with brass I'll update but right now I don't have any crimped brass that needs processed.

Since there is no internal case support during swaging, be sure you aren't bending any of the case rims.
All the swaging pressure is taken by the shell holder pulling against the case rims.

It is possible to bend rims if you run mixed cases, or have the swaging punch set to deep.

That is a good point RC. The first case I swaged I keep pushing it a little farther at a time until it was to far into the case & started to make nicks in the case rim but correctly adjusted to just slip past the crimp itself it worked great on the 100 I did.

I also decided to push a primer past the crimp to see how that worked & not that I would keep doing it do the primer did seat without effort & a little pop. That primer looks fine also.
