Revolver cylinder latch?

Can I replace the old style cylinder latch on my M-22 Thunder Ranch with the new style slanted version? I'm wanting one of the SDM aftermarket latches but I think the slanted version would be faster.

Yes, the SDM latches will work on your M-22 Thunder Ranch.
I prefer the older style (post flat) latch myself.

I don't think they are any faster.

The main differance is, the new style doesn't bark the skin off your thumb joint from recoil.
