I've experienced some bum revolvers, mostly Llamas, Taurus and S&W. Never a Ruger. Ever. If a revolver has too much head space, the cartridges can come out the back and bind. If the B/C gap isn't right, you can get spitting and excess flame. Use factory ammo and you're in good hands. If you reload, crimp the bullet.
Carrying the speed loaders is my biggest complaint about the DA revolver in general. I like revolvers, its the speedy reloading that makes them cumbersome.
